She is quite aware of the fact that she's approaching marriagable age and also, while completely loyal to Date Masamune, she ends up regularly playing the "straight man" to her hyperactive personality. She is slightly cowardly, but not an outright coward altogether. When Date Masamune revealed her plans, Kojuuro seemed content believing her master sought to unite the land and was willing to fight for her, only for her master to reveal she intends to burn the land down. This usually causes her to be the voice of reason towards her master, in fact, with Bontenmaru's childish, hyperactive and brave personality, the level headed, mature but slightly cowardly Kojuurou comes off as her master's complete oposite.
Background[]
Since a young age she has been dispatched to take care of Bontenmaru, after which she became her aide which she has been doing for so long that she is now approaching marriagable age and still stuck doing it.

Retreat at Kanegasaki Arc[]

- Back in Oshu, Bontenmaru builds an anti-christ church and summons her aide Katakura Kojuurou. She declares that she will take up the name "Jakigan Masamune", noting how Yoshiharu said her eyes were popular in the future, and decides to overthrow her father, take over the surrounding territories and dominate her way straight into Kyoto, where she will duel Nobuna to see who the real demon lord is. Half terrified, half confused, Kojuurou ends up dragged into it behind her master.
