Asakura Yoshikage (朝倉義景) is the Daimyo of Echizen, the 11th head of the Asakura clan and one of the most significant rivals of Nobuna and Yoshiharu, on a personal level no less, he was the co-commander of the Azai-Asakura Alliance alongside Azai Hisemasa and later Azai Nagamasa, he was later killed when the alliance was defeated but remains active in the form of Tsuchimikado's Evil Spirit.
Appearance[]

Yoshiharu's full body and facial expressions
Yoshikage dresses in noble attire and appears to be around his thirties, he as a good build, not too muscular or scrawny, and is a fairly tall man.
Personality[]
Yoshikage is a very cruel individual when it comes to what he wants, unfortunately for Nobuna, she is what he wants. He compares himself to Hikaru Genji, due to being quite obsessed with the Tale's of Genji, and compares Nobuna to his ideal woman in every form. His entire motivation during the battle with Oda is to capture Nobuna and make her his. On one occasion he even used his own army as a decoy, snuck into Nobuna's camp and tried to take her away, however he instead lost himself to his desires and attempted to have his way with her there an then. Yoshiharu, a usually passive individual, beat him within an inch of his life over this incident and rescued Nobuna, a thing for which Yoshikage resents him.
He has a habit of going off into his own world whenever he talks about Genji. He seems to be perverted enough to cause Tsuchimikado Hisanaga to believe he's disgusting, this is not far from the truth, as he was speaking about admiring a woman's form as he helps her change her clothes. Given his intent to drag Nobuna home and reshape her into his ideal woman, he is probably the most perverted male character in the series so far, even when he's compared to the likes of Yoshiharu, Saitou Dousan, and Belchior.
Later on, hearing the rumors that Nobuna's and Yoshiharu's relationship goes beyond a master and servant, his hate towards Yoshiharu grows stronger and stronger. Finally, when Nobuna decided to burn his entire castle down rather than even confront him anymore, he flew into a rage at how she rejected everything he believed in and asked Tsuchimikado to transform him into an Evil Spirit so that he could have his revenge upon both Nobuna and Yoshiharu.
